Welcome to the first edition of the Old South Newsletter. You will receive a monthly newsletter so please participate in sending information for us to post. November 14^th -OSHRC Training Session at Scott Badwin Kennels in Madison, Georgia. Started, Seasoned and Finished tests will be set up. December 12^th - OSHRC Training Session at Day/Didier Farm. January 9^th - OSHRC will host a HIP/EYE/MICROCHIP Clinic at Scott Baldwin Kennels in Madison, Georgia. Mark the date! Further information will be provided in a separate email. As we come to the end of another Fall Hunt Test, I hope that everyone is doing well and had a sucessful season. I also wish everyone the best of luck as duck season is upon us. I want to thank everyone that participated in the OSHRC Fall Test. It was a great success and would have not been possible without great club members pitching in. We ran close to 200 dogs each day in the different catergories. I have had a lot of great comments to the Club for such a well run event. We have also recently signed on several new members so when your at the next Club function make sure you welcome them into the family. As you can see from our calendar of events, we have alot coming up. Be sure to plan accordingly. I am also very excited about our new board, they are working their tails off to keep this moving forward and to move our Club up to the next level. As always, I want you to know that OSHRC is your Club and we welcome suggestions and comments. I know we do not always move as fast as some of us would like, but we do have the best for the Club in our hearts. With this said, please help me and the Board to improve your Club by letting us know what you want. Thanks for your support, Marcus Memberships are due for the 2010 Calendar year. If you are not current on your membership, you will receive an invoice via email in a few weeks. We are currently working on our member booklet to be distributed in January. If you have any changes regarding your contact information, please forward ASAP to becca32@charter.net or andreabarlow@bellsouth.net. Remember becoming and maintaining your membership not only helps support your club, but also provides you with benefits such as training sessions, seminars, skeet shoot, annual picnic, newsletters, and OSHRC newsletters. To all of the OSHRC members, we would like to say thank you for your participation and your help in making the Fall Hunt Test a success. oshrc board I truly appreciate the mention of me and Rush and his Grand Pass but I want to give credit where it is absolutely due. Scott Baldwin is purely responsible for Rush’s’ achievements and certainly deserves recognition for that. He has trained and handled Rush through many Finished tests and both of His Grand passes and has done an awesome job despite my involvement and I can’t thank him enough for that. He is a great trainer and has been an even better friend to me and my family. I am a very proud owner of a Grand Champion but it would not be the case if it had not been for Scott, so will you pass this along to the rest of the Club acknowledging him for Rush’s’ success?
