OLD SOUTH HUNTING RETRIEVER CLUB

and
we welcome new members.
     

This could be the most exciting thing that ever happened to you and your retriever.  You will have the opportunity to participate in hunting retriever events designed to train, develop and crown you and your dog's efforts by achieving titles for different levels.  The levels are: Started Hunting Retriever (SHR), Hunting Retriever (HR), Hunting Retriever Champion (HRCH), Grand Hunting Retriever Champion (GRHRCH) and their is even a title for the upland hunters - Upland Hunter (UH).

We are members of the Hunting Retriever Club, Inc. (HRC) and the United Kennel Club, Inc. (UKC).  The HRC working closely with the UKC has developed the hunting test rules for the hunting retriever and offer you and your friends the opportunity to participate in UKC/HRC sanctioned and licensed events through clubs such as the
Old South Hunting Retriever Club.

Day/Didier farm in Newnan unless otherwise noted.

Training Session November 14
Moved back to second Saturday		 Scott Baldwin's Kennels Normal training for all levels begins at 9:00 AM, Ends 4:00 PM
Training Session December 12 Day/Didier farm in Newnan Normal training for all levels begins at 9:00 AM, Ends 4:00 PM

Directions to Day/Didier Farm in Newnan

·         I-85 South out of Atlanta to EXIT 41

·         Turn to your left and go about 2 ½ miles and bear to your right on Church Street (Should be first road to right that angles off)

·         Go to Stop Sign and turn right onto Bethlehem Church Road

·         Go across railroad tracks and continue for about 2 miles (just after you go under I-85)

·         Turn to left onto Allen Road and go about 1 mile

·         Bear to right onto Bo Bo Banks Road and go .6 mile

·         Entrance to Day/Didier farm will be on your left (.6 miles after you turn off Allen Road)

Direction to Scott Baldwin's Kennels in Madison

  • I-20 East from Atlanta to EXIT 114
  • go left on US441/US 129 into town to the first traffic light at the square (do not take by-pass)
  • turn left at first traffic light onto Bostwick Road
  • go about 2 miles to Doster Road
  • turn left and go about 1/4 mile to entrance on right

Directions from Monroe or North of Madison

  • go east on US 78 toward Athens past Monroe to GA 83
  • turn right and go about 2 miles and GA 83 turns to left
  • stay on GA 83 for about 20 miles
  • take right on Doster Road and go about 1/4 mile to entrance on right
